Taifun (STAR-L7021) is a former Protektor from L70 "Lebesgue," a land security facility on Vineta. During a raid on an ERAA hideout (Eusanische Revolutionäre Avantgarde Armee - Eusan Revolutionary Avant-garde Army), she was captured and subjected to Bioresonant 'suggestion' so that she would become a member of that dissident faction. She instead escaped, wandering on Vineta for 53 cycles until she found her way to an EDB (Eusanische Demokratische Bewegung - Eusan Democratic Movement) hideout, being pursued by Avantgardist and Protektor alike. She spontaneously developed Bioresonance during this journey, her hair turning white and her eyes turning red as a consequence of this. She named herself Taifun after surviving a storm on Vineta. Her internal systems occasionally cause her to seize due to them attempting to purge this Bioresonance from her; however, she has grown close to a Kolibri named Hagel who helps her with her newfound abilities.

Hagel (KLBR-V13-13) is a runaway Vinetan Blockwart who has found refuge within a chapter of the Eusanische Demokratische Bewegung (EDB, Eusan Democratic Movement), a dissident underground political faction within the Nation. As one of very few drifted Protektors (and even fewer Bioresonants) within the movement, she keeps an eye out for everyone by using her Bioresonance module to look out for Protektors. She's also grown close to Taifun, a Star who recently arrived into the movement who has spontaneously developed Bioresonance.
